Writer and director based in Walyalup (Fremantle), Western Australia.

Growing up a country kid and voracious movie buff, I spent a lot of time watching TV, film, music videos, commercials, the lot. There wasn’t a lot to do in a small town and so, with this audiovisual education, my overactive imagination was forged.

Rest assured I also developed healthy social skills (sports were played, the world was travelled) and after graduating with a BA/BA (hons) in creative writing and screen arts, I cut my teeth in film and TV art departments. With over ten years experience as a dresser, stylist and production designer, I seek out visual enthralment in all my work.

This keen eye is something that I now employ as a director of short form content and commercials. My short films have screened at festivals around the world, been broadcast by SBS and starred celebrated actors such as Olivia Dejonge and Hayley McElhinney.

I love to collaborate with other creatives and clients and am most passionate about crafting stories, be them narrative, documentary or commercial, that celebrate authenticity, promote empathy and inspire human connection.

In this aim I also work as an NDIS approved support worker, mentoring emerging screenwriters and filmmakers, in an attempt to help broaden the pathways into the industry.
